Natasha Jaffe,
Cellist, Composer & Arranger
Natasha Jaffe is a Berlin-based, classically trained cellist, session musician, and composer who, through her collaboration with Indie musicians in Berlin, broke away from her classical roots to create a blend that is uniquely hers. Her compositions reflect her many influences, from Brasilian and Canadian folk to Yiddish music, and everything in between, all coming together to show how music transforms as it travels.
Natasha is the founder of the Berlin Cello Academy, a collective for cellists focused on group classes and experiences.
This production marks her first collaboration with MusikfürMusik. In Orient Express – A Vessel of Escape, she appears as both cellist and performer, bringing her distinctive musical voice into the immersive world of the show.
